Saturday 14th December was a great day all round here at Kala King Artisan Chocolate & Pastry. Not only did we have a fantastic festive workshop filled with lots of laughter and Christmas goodies, but we were featured in the Yorkshire Post Magazine!
Back in October, features writer with the Yorkshire Post, Laura Reid, visited our chocolate kitchen here in Hutton-le-Hole and spent several hours chatting to Kala and having a go at making her own handmade chocolates.
“It was lovely to meet Laura and show her some of the techniques we share with everyone who takes part in our chocolate workshops,” explains Kala. “We had a great chat about my chocolate journey and that ended up with a brilliant three-page feature in the Yorkshire Post Magazine at the weekend. I couldn’t believe it when I saw myself on the front cover of the newspaper!”
